Racing by Lap Count Due to a contract dispute between Flav-o-Flav and Timex, the 2010 PSS is racing by lap count.
Look up from your bike mounted GPS/chronometer/speedometer/odometer/heart rate monitor/watt meter

The Tyranny of Demography | December 4, 2009
P/1/2/3 races replaced by 2/3/4 over 39yo The AARP exercised substantial political clout and demanded requested more opportunities for the old fart Master racers.
The P/1/2/3 races were dropped like the Olympic track pursuit race (i.e. with a heavy heart and poor attendance).

Team Point Scoring In prior years, only the season's three highest scoring team members counted toward the season team total.
This year, points won by the three highest scoring team members from any day's race will count toward the series team total.
The PSS hopes this will help teams develop more racers and encourage strategic variety.

Prime 1 & 2 Points Scored Differently Prime 1 awards fewer points (e.g. 2pts & 1pt) than Prime 2 (e.g. 3pts & 2pts).
The PSS hopes this will encourage strategic variety.

We gave Prize Purse a double dose of Viagra. The Prize Purse of all races has been enlarged in
proportion to race participation (e.g. $6.00 per rider goes to the Prize Purse).
IF your race field includes 50 riders, THEN your Individual Prize Purse is $200.
She will love you for it. In 2008, approximately 180 riders raced any one race series.
For 2009, the Team Series Prize Purse would be $270 if 180 riders raced your series.
She love you long time!
A senior citizen decided to visit the social security office to sign up for his benefits.
Upon his arrival the clerk asked for proof of his age. When he reached for his wallet the
embarrassed man realized he had left it home. After explaining his problem to the clerk,
she replied, "Don't worry, just open your shirt, and if your chest hair is gray you will qualify."
The senior citizen opened up his shirt and was soon signed up for his benefits.
Upon arriving home, he related the story to his wife. She looked at him, smiled and said,
"Too bad you didn't drop your pants. You would have qualified for disability too!"
OK, so you have an AARP card. It doesn't slow your bike down. Now you have an opportunity to race against other grey haired masters on 04/11/09 in the feature race of the day.

The bike equivalent of musical chairs, the Miss-N-Out is a favorite event for velodrome racers.
Now you too can experience the speed and strategy of the "Devil's Race."
A $525 Prize Purse AND a Pay Out 35 places DEEP!! Keep your eyes peeled to the
back of the field that's where all the excitement is coming from!
